Admissions Questions
For diploma programs, you need 5 O-Level credits including English Language, credits in relevant teaching subjects, and a minimum age of 18 years.
You can apply online through our admissions portal or visit our offices. You'll need to submit certified copies of your certificates, national ID, and passport-sized photos.
We have two intakes: January (applications close December 31) and August (applications close July 31). Late applications may be considered subject to availability.
Admission decisions are typically communicated within 5-7 working days after submission of complete application documents.
Programs & Learning
Our Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education takes 2 years to complete through open and distance learning.
Absolutely! Our distance learning approach is specifically designed for working professionals. You can study at your own pace without attending regular classes.
You receive study modules, access online resources through our student portal, submit assignments electronically, and take exams at designated centers. Tutor support is available via email and forums.
Regular class attendance is not required. However, you may need to attend occasional tutorial sessions, workshops, or examinations as scheduled.
The ZAMCOL student portal is available at zamcol.tech. You can access study materials, submit assignments, check grades, and communicate with tutors through the portal.
Fees & Payments
We offer flexible payment plans including annual, semester-based, and monthly installment options. Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or at our offices.
Apart from tuition, there are registration fees, ECZ examination fees, and teaching practice fees. Study materials are included in the tuition fee.
We currently do not offer scholarships but we have flexible payment plans to help manage your tuition payments. Contact our admissions office for more information.
Examinations & Certification
Yes, our diploma programs are examined and certified by the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ), making them nationally recognized qualifications.
Examinations are held at designated centers across Zambia. We announce examination venues well in advance to allow proper preparation.
You can re-sit failed examinations during the next examination session. There are additional fees for re-sit examinations.
